STATION 9

Photographed from the streets of Skid Row, members of the Los Angeles Fire Deparment Station 9. Station 9 has a reputation as being the busiest station in the United States due to the extraordinary number of calls they receive on a daily basis. Annually, the number often exceeds 30,000, mostly for fire suppression and medical emergencies. Members of Station 9 are proud of two words seen above on the side of their trucks - SKID ROW. This is their territory and they work hard to protect everyone in it.
