ANASTASIA

"Can I pet your dog?" Bill asked from the streets of Denver. "I had a German Shepard that lived to be ten - her name was Anastasia. I'm homeless right now. I had an apartment for years. I got notice they were going to sell it, and I had ninety days to find a different place. Rents have went up so much, I haven't been able to find anything I can afford on SSI. I'm staying at The Crossroads - the Salvation Army - they have a program for veternas. Eventually they'll get me into a temporary apartment where I can stay until I can find a place of my own."
